What are the factors to achieve faster growth rate?

Here is my current game plan on how to achieve the fastest growth rate while minimizing manual effort. What I say here is subject to change upon new findings.

βŒ› Interval directional tugging. Basically it goes like this: tug 1 hour, remove device, exercise 5 minutes, optional short manual session before and/or after exercise, rest 40 minutes, and switch directional tension upon the repeated interval. There are currently 5 useful static directions that don't require manual techniques:

  • Regular POE tension between inner and outer skin

  • Inflation

  • Inflation with a trimmed gel protector sleeve

  • Twist clockwise(T-tape only)

  • Twist counter clockwise(T-tape only)

  • + More when incorporating manual sets

Ideal tension while doing interval rests is between 1.25 lb to 1.75 lb. I personally wouldn't go higher unless I'm doing shorter manual sessions which then I would go to maximum of 2 lb.

2nd option: If I don't have time for interval rest breaks, switch to a very light constant tension. Lighten up on the inflation psi if inflating. Do packing. Manual intervals with o-rings.

3rd option: Sometimes tape comes off or not convenient to put another T-tape on. Grip-set devices can use a similar strategy especially with help of manual methods. Switch between inflation and non inflation. Don't forget exercise and interval rest breaks.

I often see the question, "What is the fastest way to restore?", "What is the best device?", "How to optimize results?" And personally I have been asked it many times, and each time I said something different. My current answer to this is there are too many factors at play to know for sure what the most optimal way to tug is. The ideal device for one restorer might not be for another restorer. Every device has a little something that it does better than the other. Some prefer switching between devices. Incorporating manual only or manual + devices. Personally, I'm a fan of T-tape and manual methods while seldomly use grip-set devices.

πŸ₯‘ Diet is another important factor. Simply eating whole foods and taking a multi vitamin could make a big difference in results. Opting for organic pasture raised meat, eggs, and dairy over conventional. Choose extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, or avocado oil over the other highly processed seed oils. Avoid dirty dozen fruits and vegetables, go organic. Drink enough water, get enough sleep, don't smoke, improve air quality, and avoid stressful situations. Look for foods that improve vasodilation and avoid foods that constrict. Vitamins and supplement list: vitamin c, protein, collagen,

🧘 Tug breaks can be another factor. I know many say skin doesn't need breaks. Well we're kinda asking our cells to split multiple times plus we have more strategic advantages that other areas of skin expansion can not effectively execute like multi directional tension, easy removal of tension, etc. Also there is a inner layer of smooth muscle called the Dartos muscle which responds to skin expansion differently, perhaps slower.

My tug break schedule: every 4th day take a break from tugging. Every 1 month take 3 days off from tugging. Every winter take a tug vacation Dec Jan and Feb. Every summer, take the hottest month off. I read somewhere that cell division is slower when in the colder months and hotter months, so it's a perfect opportunity to reset and heal. Now that doesn't mean to go off track from the diet. In fact, that's when to really keep up with the diet and exercising to effectively reset the skin for a better new year of tugging.

I put this page up so I have a place to share what I think works best. This method hasn't been yet fully tested to convince myself it provides the quickest results. There is a lot more research and testing to go. Not every skin type will respond the same to any particular method. If you find something that works for you, stick with it. KOT!
